Work with Notes

There are two types of Notes you can add to an Inquiry.

You can update the audience on a note at any time.

Add a comment

  1. Select the Notes tab from the Inquiry Details pane.

  2. Select the New Note field and enter your notes.

  3. Select Comments (Client visible).

    Comments are visible to clients. If you do not want clients to see your notes, select Work Notes.
  4. If your note includes PCI/PII sensitive data, the following warning appears.

    Your comment contains PCI/PII sensitive data. Do you want to submit this comment with sensitive data?

    • Select Confirm to submit the comment as entered.
    • Select Cancel to edit your comment before submission.
  5. Select Submit.

Add a work note

  1. Select the Notes tab from the Inquiry Details pane.

  2. Select the New Note field and enter your notes.

  3. Select Work Notes.

    Clients cannot see Work Notes. If it is important for the client to see this communication, select Comments (Client visible).
  4. Select Submit.

Update the audience for a note

  1. Select (Edit) on the note you would like to update.

  2. Select the new note type.

    Comments are visible to clients. When you add a new comment or change the visibility of a work note to become a comment, clients will receive a notification.

    Work Notes are only visibile to associates.

  3. Select Submit.
