How do I reset my password?
- Select the Forgot password link from the Login page.
- Enter Username, the last four digits of your SSN or Tax ID number, and select Continue.
- Check your email inbox for an email to reset your password and select the included link.
- On the Change password page, enter your New password, Confirm new password, and select Change.

How do I unlock my user if I enter my password incorrectly too many times?
If the Abiliti password is entered more than 3 times incorrectly, it will lock the record. The user can call the financial institution to have their Abiliti record unlocked or wait 30 minutes for the record to unlock automatically. Once the record is unlocked, the user can click the Forgot Password link if they need to Reset their Password. If the user does not remember their password, they can utilize the forgot password link.
Can a user use a previous password when either resetting or changing a password?
No. A user must set a different password and cannot use a previous password.
How often will a user be required to change passwords?
The user’s password will not expire at this time. Password change frequency is on the roadmap.
